Valhalla ubermod great however a lot hard to use and understand

maybe i've not enough time for you to learn it correctly and also to browse the posts in sean costello's website, or i do not know. however i have attempted to achieve that and it makes sense a hadache

obviously, the outline of verery single parameter is " scientific" and accurate, but based on me this (wonderful) connect should have a detailed and simple-to-understand group of video lessons Once more it truly sounds great and frequently utilize it, nevertheless its too complex to know it "really" to create your personal delay , because to achieve that it's important to entirely know how the connect works

Please Sean , have video lessons, it might really cause me to feel happy

I believe it's really very clear to see – the tooltips are extremely useful.

Maybe do this: choose a VERY fundamental effect. Only a simple, little delay. Generate a nice little loop inside your DAW with maybe only one hit of the snare or perhaps a bass drum or perhaps a pluck seem, then test out another controls, just individually to get some type of fundamental knowledge of the things they're doing.

Video tuts will always be nice, maybe Dan Worrall can be it.

Well, I ought to really make simpler to know plugins.

Getting stated that, I'll speak with my local studio wiz guy about booking a while for videos. I am focusing on AAX ports and general updates at this time (boooorrrrriiiinnnnggggggg), but is deserving of a while within the next month to operate on video lessons.

I am still unsure that explanations in video form will improve than explanations in text form, however the cynical marketing guy within use is whispering within my ear about YouTube and Search engine optimization.

Sean – for most people, nothing can compare to a great video tutorial Body with quality voice (versus. text within the video – ugh. ). I love to do my workout as you're watching them, and I have had the ability to learn a lot of new methods without having to spend any additional time whatsoever.

Dan Worrall and Eli Krantzburg would be the masters. This is because they do not "undergo all of the features," rather, they reveal you the way to complete important fundamental things. And Eli especially goes gradually enough, explaining incidentals on the way, that no-one, regardless of how stupid, remains behind. "Getting began with Ubermod" will be a good starting point

New user here. I have been looking everywhere permanently videos about this

I am sure every cent spent getting Dan Worrall to complete some videos could be came back with curiosity about new sales. Initially glance this wordpress plugin looks simple, however it's deeeeep. It requires an operating illustration showing its abilities. It's especially needed with this particular wordpress plugin since it is so unusual, there's practically nothing enjoy it so not one other generic tutorial is going to do.

First of all, you can examine out Ubermod (simply because it's fantastic and also you owe it to yourself )
But it is even more than just delays, it's modulation, delay and diffusion folded into one beautiful wordpress plugin. However when I want an upright up delay It's my job to grab Timeless or H-Delay (since i have individuals, you will find obviously several options available).

I'll possess a have fun with Ubermod, observe how it fares as basic delay (jeeze, never even attempted that )

Metal Mixing Guide #24 [Modern Metal Tone]

Video COMMENTS:
  • Death Culture Studio: First of all, I'm sorry for delay with this video. I wanted to post it until 31 and wish you a happy new year and all, but it took way more time than I expected at first. It's not really about final adjustments to the mix, the whole process of recording and editing (including text writing) was trully terific. (note: I forgot to turn them notifications on when posted it, so I'm even more of an idiot for re-uploading this, what a mess. Hopefully I won't f*ck this up now)

So I hope this year will be good and productive for all of you and your close ones. Win win win no matter what. Them doors that was closed, rip the doors off and take them hinges off and when you take the hinges off – put the hinges in whoever hands you will.

I'd wanted to thank you for all the support, I really apreciate it. Without you this whole thing wouldn't be possible. 2017 wasn't very productive in case of amount of posted videos, just because I've spent nearly half of it working on bass library (which again, wouldn't be possible without you), plus I feel like overal quality of content just getting better. Well, maybe not the actual quality of the video, but I learned my lessons from 2016 and changed the ways of design in order to provide better templates. I may go out of directions sometimes, but for me it's always about good sounding (even though it's totally subjective thing).
I'm gonna have some good sleep now, and right after I'll start sorting out my DMs and comments.

Within next 10 days I'll post some standalone processing models on Patreon (open post). Not gonna do videos on them, so I'll probably let you know using community posts option here on YT. I know it's annoying af, but I promice that I will ONLY use it for super-important stuff (such as non-youtube uploads), no teasers, no anything else, just important things.

  • IYN: Too much compression-limiting.
  • Ev Sp: SUCK MY DICK! THIS IS AWESOME THANK YOU FOR THE INFO! KEEP ON PUTTING OUT KILLER VIDS I NEED THE TONES IN MY LIFE
  • Welder_Vasya: Звук хорош!
  • MicheleUrukHai: Mate are you ok?
  • Augusto Diniz: Greetings from Brazil! <3 Make a GOJIRA one. Love you're videos man, KEEP IT UP!!
  • Drystan Barnett: Hey man im a huge fan of this channel. Ive been using your drum tracks for practice since about 2015 and ive started using samples and I have a question. Should I change the sample hits to audio files before mixing? And if so what difference would that make in the sound
  • Allen Taylor: you still alive dude?
  • MrMusicopath: why you don't use impulses like ownhammer or red wires ones? you don't like them?
  • AXIL official: Pls make a RAMMSTEIN Tutorial
  • PuppetSkulls: you could make a video explaining how to mix vocals (screams gutturals growls) etc for metal ?
  • SlammyJammies: COME BACK
  • Patricio Rodriguez Castelli: dude!!! Come Back!!!
  • Dr HELL: I just want you to know something mate! This channel….. is worth so much gold…. I am learning so much from you, I would spent 40000$ in college and still could make shit. Because I have spent 5000$ for 2 years and the only thing we learned there was "EQ" "Compressor" "Reverb" "optical connections" and "apple is better than windows".. I was a good student the lessons was going so slow… We first time recorded real drums for mixing at home after 1 and a half year. But you, man, you are the best! I hope you will live for 100 more years 🙂
  • kiba vlood: Which DAW is this?
  • Patryk Galant: You have my 1$ 😀 such valuable knowledge!
  • H3BLUAL _: Please someone tell me the name of this software
  • SlammyJammies: Ivy I have learned a hell of a lot from you man. When I first started watching you I always wondered "why are his EQ's always super complex and drastic". I kind of thought you were mangling the drums and other things beyond the threshold of realism with the equalization that took out most natural resonance and it's quirks that made shit sound "natural". Well, I recently started doing the same thing when I became unhappy with how muddy and muffled my tracks (specifically drums) were sounding and holy shit, it is a life changer. I never realized how much space and room in the mix is dedicated to "them whistley shits" and resonant shit just crowding the good stuff out. Now I've got so much more headroom and less CPU usage because I'm not subconsciously overcompensating for all the weird shit I didn't know was going down. Thanks so much man!
  • Lennart Bellemann: Awesome Video , what about some animals as leaders tone ? I just can't find a way to those somewhat clean guitars ,would be awesome
  • SlammyJammies: "I only turn it on before mix down to make sure my processor doesn't hit the heat level of a neutron star." That shit cracked me up. Too damn relatable.
  • Typowiec PL: Could you make some drum beats to order?
  • Ryan Clark: this has been instrumental in my approach to mixing. thank you
  • Ryan Clark: this shit is fucking fireeee son
  • SheshehangEngden/Nepal: Nice- new content-
  • Dennis Bikker: Ivy. This proves why it was love at first sight. Every single tutorial, so fucking amazing. Cyka blyaaaaaaaat! <3
  • AG Productions: Hey man, thanks so much for the tutorials. I made a mix from your humanity's last breath guide and it really kicks nice:
    https://soundcloud.com/andrew-grover-1/djent-with-ambient-guitar-track-test

On a side note, do you have any knowledge of parallel compression? I would love to have an informative video where you use this to make select instruments (like the drums or bass for example), to pop out in the mix. Thanks!

  • GR Jona: The best Tutorial, Thank you!!!
  • Actinism official: bring me the horizon doomed or avalanche plz
  • J Larzon: These tutorials are really great! I just re-watched Sayars video, your are right, that guy has some skills!!! Hope you don't mind, but I've using a lot of your EQ suggestions in my Superior Drummer kits. They just really make everything sound metal af 😀
  • Rob loyst: Excellent as always! I always wondered why you did guitars at 94%? I actually tried this in reaper and I don't know if I have some setting wrong or something, but my guitars actually sounded WIDER!? 94% it is!
  • Andre Skopko: You're the best man! But i love the shit tight sound from Any Given Day – sounds like "Home is where the Heart is" or "Never say die". Please make a tutorial for this. Happy new year my Friend!
  • ADV: Thank you very much, happy new year from an argentinian fan 😀
  • É o Patrux!: Are you running 32-bit Cubase?
  • settingfiretogiants: When I wake up and see a new Death Culture video it makes my day (seriously)

Keel it up bud! I love your vids

  • Illion Orion:
  • An Underdog: Russki precision!
  • aleurety.: Reminds me Slice The Cake band so much <3
  • Timur Safin:
  • Chris Scott: Dude, your mixing are so fucking sick. The previous video you did of this riff was already badass.. Then you show up with something like this.
I hate you, and love you at the same time.
  • Gontzal sa: Fantastic, Thanks. Happy new year!!!
  • Integral Mind:
  • Ибрагим Гаджиев: wooooooow! it's amazing!
  • Zack Almasy:
  • Kyle Pierce: Man I love the info in these videos, but listening to that text to speech for an hour is really painful
  • Sayar Sadykov: Hi, Sayar here ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  • Gonzalo Garcia Vargas: Sick
  • ward0: Shit, those chopping harmony guitars in the background with some reverb are lit as fuck. Great work, Ivy, as always!
