It began by helping cover their classic vintage instruments, Casio SK­1 as well as an Alesis HR­16, taken in to the lab and circuit bent. These were opened up up, adding switches, hard wiring new controls that altered them into monsters. Once completed, these were sampled and multi­sampled into tube mic preamps. The switches and knobs caused the instruments to create new textures, drones and multi­sampled pitches. The sounds which were created were examined, mapped, tuned, and looped to produce new, more flexible instruments within the digital realm. Synthesis was added: envelopes, filters, LFOs, as well as an effects engine. It makes sense 5 new Circuit­Bent Rack Extensions by Meeker Forex, incorporated within this bundle.

Many of these instruments have a couple of standard waveforms but predominantly the sounds are tremendously tweaked but musical and versatile.The circuit­bending community is an accumulation of creative thinkers, much like the people from the Reason community.
