Circuit Bent Samples/Sample Albums

I’ve recently setup my Soundclick page with the ability for people to download the samples of .75 a piece, or as an album for 7.99. I’ve setup two albums, one is a collection of Vocal Glitches (like the Speak and Spells and furbys), and one is a collection of instruments that generate random music, beats, and sounds (like the Casio SA series, and the Musini). Here’s a link to the Store.

Clean Up Complete

I’m all done straightening up pages. Probably have a few links to fix as I find them.

Hoping to add some new content once I get some photos and such uploaded. Stay tuned! Same Bent Time, Same Bent Channel.

Pardon our Solder Smoke

This site has needed straightened up for quite sometime, and I’m a little more then half way done. Working on slimming it down to make room for new content and projects.

You can navigate to different pages through the side bar as always, and I’m working on setting up better links in the pages that follow. Hope to have it all done by this weekend.

Results of the “Circuit Bending Challenge”.

Well it’s all over. 3 friends came over and got their first taste of circuit bending. My initial target “Alphy” the alphabot ended up being a dud, so I went and got a Bloo’s Clues toy was successful with that. Here’s a video with 3 of the 4 that were complete.

I’ll do more of a write up later, I just wanted to get this up here for the contest.

Are you asking for a Challenge!!!!!

Small update + some interestingness.

Been posting new creations on ebay lately. Also working on finishing up a big project, and an old one that I literally had to dust off before finishing (more of a mod then a bend).

circuitbendingchallenge
I’ve decided to accept the “Circuit-Bending Challenge” put forth by Circuit Master from GetLofi and createdigitalmusic. See links for more info, but basically on Oct. 28th I’m going to get a bending target, bend it while documenting progress, and post the results up on the internet all in the same day.

Be sure to stay tuned, same bent-time, same bent-channel.

Trying to get back into gear.

Couple new things.

We have a Youtube that you can see all the latest bentstruments in action.
See it here

And now there is a myspace for the site.
See it here.
If you have bought something for me, or are interested in what I do, be sure to come and friend me so that you can get updates on anything new I might be doing.

Wow, it’s been a while.

I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve done anything on this site (or any Mad Science period). I’m working on getting things going again, working on getting the lab more workable, and some changes to the site. Please excuse the google ads, not put there by me. I’ve added a couple of links on to the side bar so that people will still be able to get to the info about my work, and contact me if they are interested in a custom instrument. I will hopefully be adding more info on what I’ve been working on in the last 6 months soon.

Ta for now.

Wow, it’s been a while. I have a ton of things to show you, just hope I have the time to add it all. Thus far I’ve added a page to keyboards talking about my work adding LFOs to toy keyboards here, and I’ve added a little blurb about my most recent SK-1 bend here.

6/28/06

Man, have I been busy. I’ve been working on controlling toys with external oscillators with some relatively pleasing results. More pages on that later. Right now I would like to introduce you to Musini Proto.

Added another keyboard to the keyboards page. Also check out this ad made by Igor Amokian (Chris Wild).

2/7/06

Look out for new additions to the instruments page. I’ve recently gotten addicted to guitar pedal building and modifing, so I hope to have some pages about that up soon also.

I’ve made a decision to take some steps to advance my knowledge of electronics, so be on the look out for more advance gadgetry in the not to distant future.
